Please See Christmas For Cuba
There was a young boy swimming in a calm river one hot afternoon when an unexpected storm rumbled in and flash floods quickly took the area by surprise. The screams of the child echoed throughout the village while he clung to a large tree that had been caught by a boulder. The villagers griped with helpless fear stared on and asked among them selves what they should do. At that moment the strongest swimmer of the tribe came running to the swelling river bank and tied a rope around his waist. He then through it into the crowd and with strong strokes swiftly reached the now unconscience child. The crowd cheered the strong swimmer's life saving victory but as soon as their fear left them, horror took over. Both child and swimmer were swept away by an unexpected powerful current. The villagers looked up to see who had the rope but in all the excitement no one had picked up the rope. Hopelessly they now watched on as both man and child we wisked away down stream towards their death.
As a Christian organization we intend to hold that rope for our missionaries that place their lives on the line every day to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. For too long has the church forgotten about those who forsake fame and fortune to GO throughout the world and make disciples in His name. Missionaries in communist countries working under cover in hostile environments need someone to hold that rope.
Our mission for our overseas outreaches is simple and basically effective:
1. Deliver the written word of God to those who don't have it.
2. Preach the word of God with unction and with out compromise.
3. To deliver basic human necessities to the helpless throughout the world.
Throughout the course of this ministry we have been able to raise up with the much needed help of God various outreaches in the country of Cuba.
A. Two video bible schools which are shown in poor villages in the countryside.
B. A Christian Doctors network which covertly dispenses pharmaceutical medicine.
C. Financial support for local Pastors and Evangelists in Cuba.
D. Periodical distribution of food supplies.
E. Financial support for Missionaries laboring in other countries.
One night driving through Havana with my wife we saw a terrible accident. A car had hit a large truck head on and about 200 were in the middle of the street. There was no police, there was no ambulance and somebody pulled us over and asked us to take the driver of the car to the hospital. We agreed and soon the crowd tried to place the driver of the wrecked car into our compact car. I could not tell if it was a man or a women. What I saw was a bloody hunk of flesh that was soon transported into a larger car since it (the body) would not fit in the back seat.
Did this person know Christ? Has anyone ever preached the soul saving good gospel news to that person. As I struggled with those bloody images in my mind I felt an urgency to tell others about Christ. The day of the rapture is quickly closing upon us as the un locked wheels of time rushes humanity toward that great day.
The day is coming when the moon is bleeding and the seas are seething under the whiplash fury to spill their dead in the lap of God, and then...................judgment .
We are bought with a price and man did not pay it ! GOD shed His precious blood on Calvary for us, and He is the only one we need to please !
